Paper + Plastick welcomes Failures' Union

Paper + Plastick would like to officially announce Failures' Union to our ever expanding roster. This Buffalo, NY band has been hanging around and playing shows since as early as 2004. They quickly self-released a 3-song demo CD-R and that same year they were picked up by Art of the Underground to put out the “You Know Who” EP and became a part of the Art of the Underground Single Series. However, it wasn’t until 2007 when the band solidified their lineup and wrote/recorded their first full-length Sinker (One Percent Press) that they really started making waves. Their sound is reminiscent of much of the great indie and alt-rock of the 1990’s, with hints of The Lemonheads, Dinosaur Jr, Guided by Voices and Superchunk layering their simple catchy songs. The band caught our ear at Paper + Plastick and contact was made, a new full-length was written and a release is in the near future. The albums is titled "In What Way" and more details will be forthcoming very soon. Expect it early this fall in vinyl and digital formats.
